Worship as A Lifestyle

SAVED Commune at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf

The very first SAVED Commune was spearheaded with the notion that Christians ought to be living a worship lifestyle. DJ Ganns Dean of the SAVED Radio shared his insights and experiences as to how one can live out his or her faith in the real world and not having to divide spiritual life and actual life altogether.

What ensued was a great intimate gathering full of dialogue and sharing, as people from different backgrounds and churches all joined in the conversations. “It was so refreshing to hear of other Christians living out their faith in the real world’, said one of the participants.

The core of this commune was to start a movement of Jesus followers to live out their calling, not only in the church but also in their work and family life. The SAVED Ministry strongly believes that the harvest is indeed plentiful, but you won’t find those in the typical church building; these unreached people are in the marketplaces and in other areas where Christians seem to be invisible and not making much of an impact.

Ending the very first SAVED Commune, the participants heralded a much needed change in perspective by strengthening their resolve to live the Christian life anywhere and anytime, not only on Sundays but also Mondays through Saturdays.

Matthew 5:16 encourages us in the same light: “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
