SAVED Commune at the Gentle Hands Foundation

Jesus loves the least of these (Matthew 25:40). Most Christians would rather just live their lives hassle-free and await their time to go to heaven. But Jesus tells us that our time here on earth is equally as important. What we do and how we love will be the basis of the genuineness of our Christian lives.

The SAVED team along with the SAVED ambassadors visited the Gentle Hands Foundation in December of 2015 in order to heed the word and to give to those who are in need. The team gave of their time, talent, and treasure, extending it to the Orphans who were residing there.

What followed was a beautiful time of fellowship, of sharing God’s truth and love to these young children, and just letting them know that God indeed cares for them and that we, as their brothers and sisters, care for them in the same way.
Gentle Hands was founded by the missionary parents of Charity Graff and she continues to take in children who have been abandoned, abused, orphaned, and left behind in order to give them hope and a future that they can live alongside God.

Miriam Quiambao-Roberto and Ardy Roberto visited with us as well and brought their son who was adopted by Ardy. The two of them gave talks pointing to the Father’s love and reinforcing the safety and security that the children have in Christ as the one who will never leave nor forsake them.

The Outreach was concluded with various spontaneous performances by the children: playing and singing in a band by the boys and a dance routine by the girls. Everyone had a great time connecting with one another and praying for the children as each SAVED Ambassador gave gifts and supplies that the orphanage needed, some of which have returned to Gentle Hands since then and regularly visit the kids.
